Noel Loomis (1905-1969) was a US author and editor. Loomis wrote storied for magazines, publishing work under his own name and as Benjamin Miller, and a book under the name of Silas Water. His first novel, Murder Goes to Press (1937), was a thriller, though he was most successful as an author of Westerns. He also wrote Science Fiction novels and short stories.
