Author Bio for Baxter, Arthur Beverley
Arthur Beverley Baxter (1891-1964) was a Canadian writer and politician. He served in the Canadian army in World War I from 1915 to 1918. After the war he stayed in England and got a job with Lord Beaverbrook's (a fellow Canadian) Sunday Express. He eventually became editor of the paper. In 1935 he ran for the British parliament and was elected. He remained in parliament until his death 29 years later. During his life he wrote four novels, two autobiographies and several short stories. (Macmillan Dictionary of Canadian Biography)

E. J. (Edward Jackson) Dinsmore (1885-1936) was a Canadian artist and illustrator. He was a frequent contributor to MacLean's Magazine in the 1920's and 1930's.
