Author Bio for Landsberger, Artur
Artur Hermann Landsberger (March 26, 1876-October 4, 1933) was one of the most widely read German novelists of his time. Landsberger who came from a Jewish merchant family and converted to Protestantism, studied law. After completing his doctorate in Greifswald in 1906, he founded the magazine "Morgen" in 1907, on which Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Richard Strauss worked as department heads and for which Rainer Maria Rilke, Frank Wedekind, Gerhard Hauptmann and Thomas Mann, among others, wrote. In 1909 he gave up the editorship and from then on lived as an entertainment writer and columnist. —https://www.projekt-gutenberg.org.de
