Author Bio for Clint, Mabel B.
Mabel Clint (1876 – 1939) was a Canadian nurse who served with the Canadian Expeditionary Force in England and France during World War I. She also was assigned to a nursing station on the Greek island of Lemnos which served as a staging area for the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915-16. Complications from dysentery meant more than a year of convalescence in Cairo and back home in Montreal. She returned to France in 1918. She wrote her memoirs which chronicled her war experience.
