Description:

Here is the seventh volume of the eleven-book Football Eleven series, each volume of which focuses on a specific position on a football eleven.

Seventeen-year old Willard ("Brand") Harmon, chums Joe Myers, Martin Proctor and Bob Newhall are the heroes, and Alton Academy is the boarding school location for this story. The main focus is football and preparatory school life, but adventures and hi-jinx abound. How Willard finally decided on attending Alton, and how he got his nickname are of interest, as well as the mischief which lands Willard on probation. [Suggest a different description.]
