Author Bio for Charlesworth, Hector Willoughby
Hector Charlesworth (1872-1945) was a Canadian journalist. Born in Hamilton Ontario, he started working for magazines and newspapers in 1891. He worked as a music and art critic for such publications as magazine Saturday Night and newspaper Mail and Empire. He wrote several books on the cultural scene at the time including Candid Chronicles (1925) and The Canadian Scene; Sketches: Political and Historical (1927). (Canadian Encyclopedia)
