Author Bio for Bridle, Augustus

August Bridle (1869-1952) was a Canadian journalist. Born in England, he came to Canada with his family as a young boy. He started work as a journalist in Toronto. He became editor of the Canadian Courier and was also the art, drama and music editor for the Toronto Star. He published a novel, "Hansen", and two collections of biographical sketches, the Sons of Canada and the Masques of Ottawa. (Macmillan Dictionary of Canadian Biography)
