Author Bio for Barr, Amelia Edith Huddleston
Amelia Edith Huddleston Barr (1831-1919) was an English born author who came to the U.S. with her husband in 1853. They initially lived in Texas then moved to New York in 1868 where she wrote for the newspapers of Henry Ward Beecher. At the same time she began writing novels such as Romance and Reality (1872), Remember the Alamo (1888) and the Paper Cap (1918). Her autobiography, All the Days of My Life was published in 1913.
